Localized Google Search

See a real Google search the way it looks from anywhere in the world — pick a place, a language, type your query, and view the live results.

Pick a suggestion so the location matches exactly — typed text that doesn't match a real place can silently fail to target correctly. Place search by OpenStreetMap.

If results still show your real location: open the link in a private/incognito window, signed out of any Google account, and check that google.com doesn't have permission to see your exact location (in your browser's site settings). Google treats your account and browser-shared GPS as more trustworthy than a URL parameter, so either one can override this — for "near me" queries especially.

What this page does

Google doesn't show every searcher the same thing. Rankings, map results, ads, and featured snippets all shift based on where a search is coming from and what language it's issued in. The Localized SERP Checker opens a live, real Google results page set to the city, region, country, and language you choose — so you can see search the way someone actually standing there would see it, from your own browser, without a VPN, proxy, or extension.

Common questions

Is this the same as using a VPN?

No. A VPN changes your apparent location for everything you do online. This only tells Google which location to use for a single search — nothing else about your connection changes.

Do I need to enter a country code or coordinates?

No — start typing a city and pick it from the suggestions. The country and everything else needed for an accurate search is filled in for you.

Why did my results still show my real location?

Two things can override the location this tool sets: being signed into a Google account (which carries its own saved location signals regardless of this URL), and your browser having previously given google.com permission to share your exact GPS position — Chrome and others can pass that along without asking again. Test signed out, in a private window, with location access to google.com turned off, for the most reliable result.
