Supported Symbologies Guide

EAN-13: International retail barcode standard. Must contain exactly 12 or 13 numeric digits.

UPC-A: Standard retail format in the US and Canada. Must contain exactly 11 or 12 numeric digits.

Interleaved 2-5: High-density, numbers-only format. Must contain an even number of digits. Max length: 40.

Code 39: Widely used format supporting uppercase letters, numbers, spaces, and symbols (-, ., $, /, +, %, *). Max length: 40.

Code 128-A: Supports uppercase alpha-numeric characters, punctuation, and control commands. Max length: 80.

Code 128-B: Supports standard upper/lowercase alphanumeric strings and standard symbols. Max length: 80.

Code 128-C: Compact format optimized strictly for pairs of numbers (numeric strings of even lengths). Max length: 80.
